Privacy & Data Security
Your customers trust you. We take that responsibility seriously.
Our Core Commitment
We will never sell, rent, or share your customer data. Ever.
PulsePoint exists to help small businesses understand their customers better — not to monetise personal information or build advertising profiles. This is a fundamental principle that guides every decision we make.
Privacy by Design
We build privacy into every feature from the start:
All customer feedback is automatically processed to remove personally identifiable information (names, email addresses, phone numbers, locations) before analysis.
We only collect and store the minimum data needed to generate your weekly insights. Raw feedback is processed and then securely deleted on a rolling basis.
You can export or delete all of your data at any time. No questions asked, no barriers, no waiting periods.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard encryption protocols.
What We Do and Don't Do
✓ What We Do
- Analyse feedback to generate insights
- Help you draft replies in your voice
- Store anonymised trends over time
- Encrypt all data end-to-end
- Give you complete control over your data
✗ What We Don't Do
- Sell or share your customer data
- Train AI models on your feedback
- Create advertising profiles
- Share data with third parties
- Keep data longer than necessary
⚠️ Important: This is a Prototype
This current version of PulsePoint does not process or store any real customer data.
All insights shown in the demo are generated from sample data. Any feedback you paste during onboarding is stored only in your browser's local storage and never sent to any server.
When PulsePoint launches as a full product, we will implement all privacy protections described on this page and will provide a complete privacy policy and terms of service.
Future Integrations
As we build integrations with other platforms, privacy remains our priority:
Secure API Connections
Future integrations with Google Reviews, social media, and business tools will use OAuth authentication and encrypted connections. You'll control exactly what data PulsePoint can access, and you can revoke access anytime.
No Third-Party Training
We will never use your customer feedback to train third-party AI models or share data with other companies' machine learning systems.
Questions About Privacy?
We believe in radical transparency about how we handle data. If you have questions about our privacy practices that aren't answered here, we want to hear from you.
As we develop PulsePoint, your feedback helps us build the most privacy-respecting customer feedback tool possible.
Regulatory Compliance
PulsePoint is designed with global privacy standards in mind:
GDPR Ready
Built with EU General Data Protection Regulation principles including data minimisation, purpose limitation, and the right to be forgotten.
Australian Privacy Principles
Designed to comply with Australia's Privacy Act and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles.
CCPA Aligned
Following California Consumer Privacy Act standards for transparency and user control.
